Who will join Taylor Swift on stage?

One of the features of Taylor Swift's current 1989 tour (at least in the US and Europe), has been her regular use of 'surprise' guests, with everyone from Justin Timberlake and Lorde to Julia Roberts, Joan Baez and the US women's football team joining her on stage to sing along or just dance awkwardly.

Ahead of Tay Tay's three night stint at Shanghai's Mercedes-Benz Arena, Time Out provides some spurious, completely unfounded speculation on who might make a guest appearance in China.

All of SNH48
While there’s a good chance that Tay Tay won’t bother with the surprise guest portion of her show here, she could nearly double her guest numbers for the tour in one go by getting Shanghai’s AKB48 spin off to join her.

Peng Liyuan
To ensure Swift doesn’t suffer the same fate as Maroon 5 and the like, she might want to get some guanxi in the bank, and what better way to do that than by inviting style icon and former pro singer Mrs Xi Jinping on stage? Just don’t give her one of those tour T-shirts.

Jon Bon Jovi
They’ve already sung ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’ together (with Prince William), so why not?

Jin Xing
Alright, a serious one. China's best known dancer, top class choreographer and the country's first transexual public figure would be a great pick in our book. Read more about Jin Xing here.

Daniel Craig
Rumour has it that the current 007 will be hitting Shanghai this week for the premiere of Spectre - maybe Taylor could do 'Bad Blood' with Bond? Assuming there's no actual bad blood between them after he photobombed her that time, of course.
