  • The former general manager of Dongfeng Motor Corp has been put under investigation for serious violations of discipline, China's Communist Party watchdog said.

  • Zhu Fushou, who was also deputy secretary of Dongfeng's Party committee and a member of its board, is alleged to have accepted bribes, infringed on state interests in property deals and taken a larger bonus than Party rules allow, said the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China.

  • The other two high-ranking executives who have been under scrutiny are Ren Yong, Dongfeng's former assistant general manager and vice president of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., and Fan Zhong, Dongfeng's former deputy secretary of Communist Party committee.

  • From Nov. 27 to Dec. 27, 2014, China's Party watchdog sent inspection teams to Dongfeng Motor Corp. On Feb. 4, 2015, the inspection team gave notices to Dongfeng's Party commission. Since July 2015, Dongfeng have been involved in three taking-briberies cases with five people having been sent to the judicial office.
