What's in store

A host of award-winning restaurants have each curated special lunch and dinner menus that showcase their finest culinary offerings.

Al's Diner

This all-day diner offers all-day breakfasts and classic hearty sandwiches, salads and burgers with a gourmet twist. They also serve ice cream and desserts courtesy of Gracie's, which are available for takeaway by the pint. The cozy space is usually packed during weekend brunch.

Cobra Lily

Cobra Lily is a contemporary Asian restaurant and bar in Xintiandi brought to you by the same team behind Liquid Laundry and Boxing Cat Brewery. Spread across two floors, the bold concept serves pan-Asian cuisine with a modern twist alongside craft beers and a dedicated cocktail and spirits program.

Daimon Bistro


Daimon Bistro is Hong Kong celebrity chef Alvin Leung's casual dining venue on the Bund. Serving modern Chinese cuisine, the food is more innovative than other contemporary Chinese venues of its caliber. The restaurant's interior takes queue from Kowloon's walled city, splashed with colorful graffiti. The well-stocked bar also churns out equally creative cocktails.

el Efante

This quirky restaurant takes over the old el Willy space and retains much of its character with fun scribbles on the walls and friendly staff. Chef Willy Trullas is once again behind the menu, which is more loosely focused on the Mediterranean area as a whole instead of the Spanish fare he's known for. When it's nice out, be sure to get a seat on the patio.

Ginger by the Park

This restaurant on the former French Concession, Xingguo lu, serves a menu of modern asian dishes, drawing heavy influences from various Asian cuisines. Owner Betty Ng brings her travel experiences in this beautiful continent to her plates. The newly on board chef restaurant, Jet Lo from Singapore is also bringing his mesmerizing culinary skills to Ginger.

le Bordelais

This informal wine bar features wines from Bordeaux. Interiors are an eye-catching red with checkered floor tiles. A well-done and tasty menu complements their wine selection; try the truffle sandwich or their duck confit. Their brunch is pretty value-for-money too.

POP American Brasserie

This all-day dining American brasserie at Three on the Bund pays tribute to 1970s American pop culture with vintage decor featuring chandeliers along with wood, leather and stone elements that create a warm atmosphere.

The Cannery

The Cannery is a gastrolounge offering seafood and cocktails, opened by the team behind The Nest.The concept features canned snacks, like pickled seafood, alongside loads of fresh seafood options, accompanied by high quality cocktails. Food on offer includes warm seafood salads, grilled octopus leg, mussels, short rib and steak. Music is proper rock and roll, new and old. Great patio seating, too.

Tomatito

This sexy and fun tapas bar by chef Willy Trullas Moreno (of el Willy and el Efante) on Taixing Lu offers Spanish small bites and drinks at affordable prices. At Tomatito, chef Willy stays true to the traditional flavors of his home country. Don't miss out on the explosive salmon TNT and cheese, barbecued lamb ribs and steak air baguettes.

What is Dining Week

The first event of its kind from City Weekend, we have invited over 30 restaurants to participate, including nominees from our highly-anticipated annual Readers’ Choice Awards.

Each restaurant has designed a menu offering unique lunch and dinner sets.
