Chery Jaguar Land Rover announces personnel changes

  • The board of directors of Chery Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Co., Ltd. on Sept. 7 announced that the company's president Chris Bryant and deputy president Zhu Guohua will resign later this year due to the expiration of their tenure. Bryant will assume responsibility for Jaguar Land Rover, while Zhu will continue his responsibility for Chery as Assistant to General Manager and will also be responsible for Chery's joint-venture and cooperative projects.

  • At the same time, the board of directors appointed Mr. Murray Dietsch as President of Chery Jaguar Land Rover and Mr. Chen Xuefeng as Deputy President, succeeding Chris Bryant and Zhu Guohua, respectively. Under the leadership of the two new executives, Chery Jaguar Land Rover will continue its efforts to deliver the world-class products and services to consumers, and strives to be an excellent leader in the Chinese high-end car market.

  • Murray Dietsch, the current director of Land Rover Programmes, has been working to promote the business development of Jaguar Land Rover. Under his leadership, the Range Rover Evoque and Discovery Sport have been launched and gained good reputation. Chen Xuefeng, the current executive vice president of the Manufacturing Department of Chery Jaguar Land Rover, has rich working experience in mainstream auto JVs and has occupied important positions regarding company planning, product planning and development, platform management, production, and plant operation. Both executives are expected to contribute more to the company's future development.
