There is a new piece of good news for the foodies in Sichuan and Chongqing! Recently, the whole line of Chengdu – Chongqing High-speed Rail has started to be tested. It is reported that the whole line will be open to traffic next month and it only takes one hour and 26 minutes, twice as fast as Chengdu – Chongqing CRH trains. Is everyone ready? For foodies, it is just a distance of one hour and 26 minutes from Chongqing hot pot to Chengdu Maocai (mixed vegetables boiled in spicy soup).

Chongqing-ers' nightlife starts from barbeque, but they would not feel satisfied without pork brain and duck intestines.

Rice noodles
